VOLUNTEERING
Each of our areas of mission and ministry rely on the valuable contribution of volunteers.  Holy Cross and our Anglican Ministries in Playford partners offer a variety of opportunities to volunteer. Volunteer opportunites include the preparation and delivery of meal services, working in opportunity shops, pastoral care,  transport and much more.

MISSIONS
Holy Cross is a  Christian community seeking to serve God through serving the wider community.  It is easy to get involved, all you need is a caring heart and the will to help those in need.
  1. Hospital & Nursing Home Ministry
    Holy Cross provides chaplaincy services at Lyell McEwin Hospital and worship services for residents and families in a number of Nursing Homes in the Playford Area. If you have a family member, or friend in a Nursing Home in Playford , or who is being treated at Lyell McEwin who would like to participate in a worship service, or be visited by our caring and friendly Hospital Chaplain, please contact us today.
  2. Prayer
    Prayer is central to our faith at Holy Cross. We believe in the power of prayer. Our dedicated prayer chain team are committed to iterceding through prayer for the people of our Parish and the wider community who are seeking the help of prayer. If you would like us to pray for you, a friend or a family member, please contact us today.
  3. Donate
    The work we do and the services we offer rely heavily on the generosity of the community. Donations of goods and money are always welcomed to help us to keep our mission and ministry sevices to the community running.   4. Fellowship
    Holy Cross offers many opportunities for fellowship. You are always welcome to join us after our weekly services for a cuppa, bickie and a chat, or you could join us for one of our weekly Friday Fellowship groups. Perhaps you would like to join our monthly Men's Breakfast, or Monthly Ladies Breakfast group to share a hearty breakfast and hearty discussion. There's also our twice monthly Soul Cafe free community meal, and more.   5. Families
    Families worshiping together is an important opportunity to help nurture adults, youth and children in their faith. Our regular weekly Sunday Morning 10:00am service includes a Sunday School in which parents and children can worship together with the whole community.
